Appeal Electric Scooters and Bikes

We are investigating after several reports of electric scooters and electric cycles being ridden dangerously , often by children , as young as ten years old.. 

These Scooters, and SOME of the bikes are illegal.and are classed as motor vehicles . This means they need Insurance , which is not available in the UK. Some of the people who have been riding them are doing so with no lights , no helmets , on Pavements , in  local Parks ,near dog walkers , on the Cycle Track.  A young child was hit by one of these in Tanghall a couple of days ago , and the rider ran off pushing the bike.
